Moffin
Moffin Software, a leader in data analytics solutions, sought to improve its analytical capabilities to provide its customers with more fluid and interactive insights. Building on the success of a previous collaboration, Semantiks partnered with Moffin on a two-phase approach to optimize its data architecture and deliver an improved user experience. The first phase consisted of integrating Looker for integrated analytics, followed by the automation of data ingestion with Fivetran, allowing for more efficient data pipelines.

Moffin faced two critical challenges:
- Access to Analytics by Customers: Moffin needed a way to provide its customers with fluid access to interactive and real-time analytics through integrated dashboards that were easy to use and accessible within their applications.
- Data Intake: The existing Moffin data ingestion process was manual and required automation to ensure faster and more reliable access to data in Google BigQuery.
Semantiks proposed a phased approach to address Moffin's challenges:
- Phase 1: Integrated Analytics Integration with Looker: The goal was to provide Moffin customers with role-specific, interactive dashboards, integrated directly into their applications, allowing them fluid access to key data insights.
- Phase 2: Pipeline automation with Fivetran: After the Looker integration, the next step was to automate the extraction of data from AWS RDS to Google BigQuery, ensuring timely and reliable data ingestion with minimal manual intervention.
- Integrated Dashboards with Looker (Phase 1):
- Semantiks implemented Looker's integrated analytics in Moffin's customer-facing applications, allowing users to interact with data in real time through an intuitive and easy-to-use interface.
- Specific dashboards were designed and deployed for different roles, providing customers with personalized insights that improved accessibility and decision-making based on data.
